Busy Spring ! 2
11 more Good Deeds in the works. If you study the 5 broken star/ carpenter stars you will notice ONLY ONE is correct. We will call it 'variation on a theme' for the other 4.
I studied the 5 star patterns. Hard to tell which one is correct, they all work. If I had to say which one is the one you think is "correct" I'd say the first one (top/left of the three photos with stars quilts) It's always amazing when the patterns come together isn't it. The cutting and sewing the small ones together and then BAM, there it is! I sewed sqs and half sqs using paper "thangles" then I got better matching squares. You make me want to get out my sewing machine again. . . .but WAIT . . . It's going away now . . .
OK . . I'm ok . . I'll leave it in my storage room buried under quilts for now and just live vicariously through your blog.

Wow! Those are gorgeous. You are very talented. :-)
Wow! This is my dream - some day when the children are grown I want to quilt like that!
